Policy

Article 1 (Purpose)

The purpose of these Terms and Conditions is to stipulate the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of users in utilizing the internet-related services (hereinafter referred to as “Service”) provided on the Charmacist website operated by “Charmacist Co., Ltd.”

 

Article 2 (Definitions)

  1. “Charmacist Co., Ltd.” refers to the virtual space established by Charmacist Co., Ltd. for the overall introduction of the company and smooth communication among members, and it is also used in the sense of the business operator running “Charmacist Co., Ltd.”.
  2. “User” refers to members and non-members who access the website of “Charmacist Co., Ltd.” and use the Service provided by “Charmacist Co., Ltd.” in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
  3. “Member” refers to a person who has provided personal information and pharmacy information to “Charmacist Co., Ltd.” and registered as a member, who continuously receives information from “Charmacist Co., Ltd.” and can continuously use the Service provided by “Charmacist Co., Ltd.” until the expiration date.
  4. “Non-member” refers to a person who uses the basic services provided by “Charmacist Co., Ltd.” without joining as a chain member.

 

Article 3 (Specification and Revision of Terms and Conditions) 

  1. These Terms and Conditions are posted on the Service screen of “Charmacist Co., Ltd.”. 
  2. “Charmacist Co., Ltd.” may revise these Terms and Conditions if there are inevitable circumstances or reasons, and upon revision, the fact of the revision and the revised Terms and Conditions will be posted on the Charmacist website. 

 

Article 4 (Provision and Change of Service) 

  1. “Charmacist Co., Ltd.” performs the following tasks:

a. Forming a network and community for chain members. 

b. Supporting e-commerce for chain members.

c. Other tasks determined by “Charmacist Co., Ltd.”.

  1. “Charmacist Co., Ltd.” may change the content of the Service to be provided under future publicly notified terms and conditions due to changes in overall company affairs or company policies. In this case, the content of the changed Service and the date of provision will be clearly specified and immediately posted in the same location as the current change announcement.
  2. If “Charmacist Co., Ltd.” changes the content of the Service agreed upon with the member through the Terms and Conditions, the reason will be immediately notified to the address where the user can be contacted.
  3. “Charmacist Co., Ltd.” shall not compensate for any damage incurred by the member due to the change in the Service content caused by the reasons in Paragraph 2.

 

Article 5 (Interruption of Service) 

  1. “Charmacist Co., Ltd.” may temporarily suspend the provision of the Service in the event of force majeure reasons such as maintenance inspection, replacement, or failure of information and communication facilities like the system, or interruption of communication.
  2. If the provision of the Service is temporarily suspended for the reasons in Paragraph 1, “Charmacist Co., Ltd.” will make an announcement and seek understanding. However, “Charmacist Co., Ltd.” shall not compensate for any damage incurred by the member or a third party due to this.

 

Article 6 (Membership Registration) 

  1. The User applies for membership registration by filling in the member information according to the application form set by “Charmacist Co., Ltd.” and expressing consent to these Terms and Conditions.
  2. “Charmacist Co., Ltd.” registers the applicant who applies to join as a chain member as in the preceding paragraph, unless they fall under any of the following subparagraphs:
  1. If there is false, omitted, or erroneous information in the registration details.
  2. If it is judged that registering as a member significantly hinders the policy of “Charmacist Co., Ltd.”.

③ The time of establishment of membership registration is the time when the acceptance of “Charmacist Co., Ltd.” reaches the member.

④ When applying for membership registration, the following items are set as mandatory or optional entries to use the content provided by “Charmacist Co., Ltd.”:

(1) Member ID

(2) Password

(3) Pharmacist Name

(4) Pharmacist License Number

(5) Pharmacy Name

(6) Pharmacy Address

(7) Date of Birth

(8) Mobile Phone Number

(9) Email

(10) Business Registration Number

(11) Business Bank Account Number

(12) Alma Mater

⑤ If there is a change in the registered matters, the member must immediately notify “Charmacist Co., Ltd.” of the changes via email or other methods. 

 

Article 7 (Member Withdrawal and Loss of Qualification, etc.) 

  1. Members may request withdrawal at any time, and “Charmacist Co., Ltd.” will immediately process the member withdrawal.
  2. If a member falls under any of the following reasons, “Charmacist Co., Ltd.” may restrict and suspend the member's qualification:
  1. If false information was registered when applying for membership.
  2. If the member obstructs the use of “Charmacist Co., Ltd.” by other members and users or threatens communication order, such as by stealing their information.
  3. If the member uses “Charmacist Co., Ltd.” to commit acts prohibited by law or these Terms and Conditions, or acts contrary to public order and good morals.

③ If “Charmacist Co., Ltd.” restricts and suspends a qualification, and the same or similar act is repeated two or more times, or the reason is not corrected within 30 days, “Charmacist Co., Ltd.” may suspend the member's qualification.

 

Article 8 (Notification to Members)

  1.  When “Charmacist Co., Ltd.” notifies a member, it may be done via the email address and fax designated by the member to “Charmacist Co., Ltd.”.
  2.  For notifications to an unspecified number of members, “Charmacist Co., Ltd.” may substitute individual notifications by posting them on the bulletin board. 

 

Article 9 (Obligations of Charmacist Co., Ltd.)

  1. “Charmacist Co., Ltd.” shall do its best to provide continuous and stable Service in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
  2. “Charmacist Co., Ltd.” shall establish a security system for the protection of the personal information (including credit information) of members and users.

 

Article 10 (Obligations Regarding Member's ID and Password)

  1. The member is responsible for the management of their ID and password.
  2. The member must not allow a third party to use their ID and password.
  3. If a member recognizes that their ID and password have been stolen or are being used by a third party, they must immediately notify “Charmacist Co., Ltd.” and follow the guidance of “Charmacist Co., Ltd.” if provided.

 

Article 11 (Obligations of Users)

Users shall not engage in the following acts:

  1. Registration of false information upon application or change.
  2. Modification of information posted on “Charmacist Co., Ltd.”.
  3. Transmission or posting of information (such as computer programs) other than the information set by “Charmacist Co., Ltd.”.
  4. Infringement of intellectual property rights, such as copyrights, of “Charmacist Co., Ltd.” or other third parties.
  5. Acts that damage the reputation or interfere with the business of “Charmacist Co., Ltd.” or other third parties.
  6. The act of disclosing or posting obscene or violent messages, images, voices, or other information contrary to public order and good morals on the website.
  7. Other acts that “Charmacist Co., Ltd.” deems inappropriate.

 

Article 12 (Relationship between Linking Charmacist and Linked-to Charmacist)

  1. When a higher-level “Charmacist Co., Ltd.” and a lower-level “Charmacist Co., Ltd.” are connected by means of a hyperlink (e.g., the target of a hyperlink includes text, images, and moving images), the former is referred to as the Linking “Charmacist Co., Ltd.” (website) and the latter is referred to as the Linked-to “Charmacist Co., Ltd.” (website).
  2. The Linking “Charmacist Co., Ltd.” shall not bear guarantee responsibility for transactions conducted between the user and the Linked-to “Charmacist Co., Ltd.” through goods independently provided by the Linked-to “Charmacist Co., Ltd.”, provided that the Linking “Charmacist Co., Ltd.” explicitly states on the initial screen or a pop-up screen at the time of connection that it does not bear guarantee responsibility for the transaction.

 

Article 13 (Attribution and Restriction of Copyright)

  1. The copyrights and other intellectual property rights for works created by “Charmacist Co., Ltd.” belong to “Charmacist Co., Ltd.”.
  2. The user shall not use information obtained through the use of “Charmacist Co., Ltd.” where the intellectual property rights belong to “Charmacist Co., Ltd.” for commercial purposes or allow a third party to use it by means of reproduction, transmission, publication, distribution, broadcasting, or other methods without the prior consent of “Charmacist Co., Ltd.”.
  3. “Charmacist Co., Ltd.” must notify the member when using copyrights attributed to the member according to the agreement.

 

Article 14 (Dispute Resolution)

  1. “Charmacist Co., Ltd.” shall primarily deal with complaints and opinions submitted by members. However, if prompt handling is difficult, the member must be immediately notified of the reason and the processing schedule.
  2. In the event of an application for relief by the user regarding a dispute over e-commerce that arose between “Charmacist Co., Ltd.” and a member, the dispute may be subject to adjustment by the dispute resolution organization entrusted by the Fair Trade Commission or the city/provincial governor.

 

Article 15 (Jurisdiction and Governing Law)

  1. Lawsuits concerning disputes over e-commerce that arose between “Charmacist Co., Ltd.” and a member shall be filed with the court having jurisdiction over the location of the main office of “Charmacist Co., Ltd.”.
  2. The laws of the Republic of Korea shall apply to lawsuits related to the Telecommunications Act filed between “Charmacist Co., Ltd.” and the user.
